Apr 20, 2014 - System Wide Update
  • Supporting the ability to configure individual LNL rooms to allow players to play at more than one table at a time. The HA for the room can request this change through our support email.
  • The following rooms are already been configured to support the multi-table option and do not need to request
    • 4 Fun
    • Canasta Rejects
    • Kanasta Friends
    • Magia Canastera
    • rebels_devils
    • Canasta Kittens
    • Attitudes
  • Spades
A major update to Spades includes:
    • Re-worked the Options Dialog
    • Added many new formats
    • Added a Renig button.
The Renig button is to be used for other Alt formats that we don't support, to better handle misplays. It works just like the Resign button, but only applies to the hand, not the game. If you click the Renig button and confirm you want to declare a Renig, and your opponent agrees, then the Renig is declared, and the hand is scored as follows: The team that declares the Renig is scored as if their bid was set. (That is, they will get a penalty of -10 times the bid, and -100 for a NIL or -200 for a Blind Nil.) The other team is scored as if they exactly made their bid. No bags are given. The Renig button should be used if a player misplays or misbids, and penalizes the offending team without totally disqualifying them.
    • Tourney Hosts might want to consider changing their ALT Format Rules to be "Misbid is a Renig" as opposed to "Misbid is a DQ", but that's your decision for your tourneys.
    • In the new Options Dialog, the formats are now separated into two groups, the Bid Formats and the Play Formats. Bid Formats limit what you are allowed to bid. Play Formats limit what cards you are allowed to play.
    • In the old version, we only had one format that would be considered a Play format, Crawl. Craw was defined as 'Bid 3 and play the lowest card in your hand of the suit'. Now, the Crawl format is listed in the Play Formats for playing lowest to highest, and we have added a new 'Bid 3' Bid format. So, to get the old 'Crawl' format, you have to choose the 'Bid 3' Bid Format, and the 'Crawl' Play format.
    • Players can mix and match Bid and Play formats, resulting in a much larger variety of formats available.
      New Bid Formats are:
      Bid 3 = Everyone Bids 3.
Bid 3+1 = Ace of Spades Bids 4, and everyone else Bids 3.
      350 = Bid 3, 5, or NIL
Truth Or Dare = First Bidder chooses if the format for that hand will be Mirrors (Truth) or Suicide (Dare).
Twisted Mirrors = First Bidder chooses the suit that everyone has to Mirror (Bid the number of cards of that suit that you have in your hand).

      New Play Formats are:
Lefty = Trick Leader must Lead the Leftmost Card in their hand.
Pressure = If you can't follow suit, you MUST play a Trump card, if you have one (even if you bid NIL).
Reverse Crawl = Must play the Highest card in your hand of the suit you play.
Strip = You can NOT play Spades until that is all you have left in your hand.
    • To help explain all the formats, we now include a short description of each format. That description will be shown in the Options Dialog Box directly under the Bid or Play format selected, as well as on the table during the game in the lower left hand side, describing the format currently being played.
  • Backgammon
    • Unfinished Rated Backgammon matches will now be auto-resolved using GNU BG. This replaces the previous method of using the last person to leave the table as the rule.
    • You can now save your matches anywhere you want on your pc. By default, the match files will be saved under the new My Documents/Safe Harbor Games/Backgammon directory. Simply click the MatchLog option on to show you exactly where the files will be stored, and an option to change that location.
    • All unfinished matches were resolved prior to the updat because of incompatible format changes made to support the new AMR.
  • Moved the installation directory to ..Program Files\SafeHarborGames
  • Move My Harbor Chats to Safe Harbor Games\My Harbor Chats
  • My Harbor Games Folder changed to Safe Harbor Games
